Optima 36 was used to create distinct rooms within the office without interrupting the open, flowing character of the plan. The slim single-glazed system gives the enclosed areas a clean architectural edge, allowing privacy and separation to be introduced without making the interior feel closed down.

Specified with 12.8mm acoustic laminated glass, Optima 36 achieves acoustic performance of up to Rw38dB. This allowed the project team to balance the need for quiet, private workspaces with the client’s preference for a bright and visually connected office.

Axile Clarity doors complete the glazed elevations with a frameless toughened glass leaf and slim Microflush aluminum frame. Their minimal detailing sits naturally alongside Optima 36, keeping the transition between rooms clean and unobtrusive.

With integral acoustic seals and an acoustic rating of up to Rw32dB, the doors support privacy while maintaining the lightness of the overall scheme. The result is a consistent glazed language across the office, where doors and partitions feel designed as one complete system.

The finished office reflects the collaboration between Modern Working, XBD Collective, Aati Contracts and Optima. Rather than relying on heavy divisions, the design uses glass to create a more fluid relationship between focused work, collaboration and client-facing areas.

The combination of Optima 36 and Axile Clarity gives the workplace a calm, polished character while meeting the acoustic needs of everyday use. It is a simple, carefully resolved approach: clear lines, controlled privacy and a workspace that feels open without losing definition.
