Nick Caley

Nick joined Optima in 1988, just two years after the business was founded, and was appointed Group CEO in 2006. His career with Optima has spanned much of the company’s 40-year journey, from its early years in Bourne End to the international business it is today.

Christian Mabey

Christian Mabey is Managing Director of Optima Products and President of PurOptima Inc. With 26 years’ experience in commercial interiors, he focuses on international growth, product innovation, manufacturing excellence and advancing more sustainable practices across the built environment.

Teresa Gorham

Divisional Group HSQES Director
Central Services, All Regions

Teresa leads HSQE across the Optima Group, with responsibility for health, safety, quality and environmental standards, including the management of ISO certifications, accreditations and compliance requirements.

Gerard Miliken

Divisional Design Director
Optima Major Works, UK & North America

Gerard joined Optima in 2005 and is now Divisional Design Director, leading an enthusiastic and skilled team of designers.

Lynne Stephens

Having been with the business since 2015, Lynne supports Optima’s people strategy across the group, helping shape the employee experience, recruitment, development and wider HR processes that support the business as it continues to grow.

Peter Long

Divisional Fire & Certification Director

Peter Long is Optima’s Divisional Fire and Certification Director, overseeing product testing, certification and technical support. With more than 25 years at Optima, he helps promote accurate product information, responsible specification and higher standards across the glazed partitioning sector.

Dave joined Optima in 1989 as a Project Engineer and quickly progressed to become Divisional Design Director heading up the Product Design and Service Team for Optima Products, with ultimate responsibility for product design.

Mark is Divisional Finance & Administration Director at Optima, bringing extensive operational and financial experience across manufacturing, central services and business support.

Appointed in 2026, Nick is Group Financial Director at Optima, bringing over 20 years of international finance and business leadership experience across private equity-backed and large corporate organizations.

David Booth

Divisional Production Director

With more than two decades at Optima, David brings practical manufacturing knowledge together with senior leadership experience. He oversees a team of more than 60 production staff, reviewing processes, developing capability and driving continual improvement across the factory.

With the company for over 25 years, Adam oversees IT strategy and development for all divisions across the Optima group of companies.

James has been with Optima since 1994, bringing more than three decades of experience and a deep understanding of the company’s supply chain and manufacturing requirements.

Matt is Divisional Marketing Director at Optima, bringing more than 25 years’ marketing experience, including 20 years within the built environment, and leads marketing strategy across the Group’s international markets.

With more than 15 years experience with Optima in the UK, Chris moved over to PurOptima in 2024 to bring his extensive specification and preconstruction experience to projects across the United States.

Alice joined Optima in 2008 after graduating and is now a Design Manager. She has worked on a number of high profile projects including The Library of Birmingham, BBC Broadcasting House and UBS.
