CARPEDIEM provides local specification, coordination and project support for Optima’s glazed partitioning and door systems across Bangladesh, combining Optima’s workplace systems with a local business that has more than a decade of experience supplying and delivering architectural and interior products across Bangladesh.
Establishing a new route to the Bangladesh market
Founded in 2014, CARPEDIEM works with architects, interior designers, consultants, multinational organizations and government bodies across Bangladesh.
Its portfolio spans flooring, decorative wall finishes, acoustic systems, lighting, furniture and glazed partitioning, giving the team a broad understanding of how individual products need to be coordinated within a complete interior scheme.
Founder and CEO Niaz Morshed brings more than 16 years of industry experience and has contributed to over 200 projects across workplace, hospitality, residential, education and government sectors.
The relationship with Optima began in early 2026 and has already secured its first project, ACI Forum.
CARPEDIEM’s established relationships, specification experience and knowledge of local procurement and delivery requirements provide a clear foundation for supporting future projects across Bangladesh.
Together, the teams aim to provide architects, designers and clients with local access to Optima systems, supported from early product discussions through to coordination and installation.
